I really enjoyed writing this one. It was the first poem I wrote in about 4 months. Putting myself in that sweet spot of creativity was something I sorely missed. I picked up the title trick from Ted Kooser's book. You can set the scene for the poem before the reader even starts the first line. I really enjoyed writing this one. It was the first poem I wrote in
about 4 months.

The poem is so intense the first time i read it I thought he had killed someone, or was going to kill himself. After a couple of readings, I thought he might have just dinged a mirror.
