(NaPoWriMo #9)
Alone flew a bluebird
So happy so free
Soared high in the air
For the whole world to see
Not a care in his head
Not a fear in his mind
So happy go lucky
So joyful so kind
Each flap of his wings
Brought peace to his heart
Each song from his beak
Spurred others to start
Up down, up down
Wings move with a thrust
Fly higher, fly forward
With passion he must
He knows his time
Is allotted on Earth
He knows he must live
Each day after birth
He lives with fervor
With pride with life
No fear of death
No need for strife
He glides over oaks
Finds rest in their bough
A happy little bluebird
No baggage in tow
